Lifeline is Planting a Flag

Lifeline Theater is fully committed to establishing the Lifeline Theater Art Center within the next six months. The bold colors of this illustration of the American flag by Peter Max perfectly symbolize our confidence and spirit in this endeavor.

A fixed residence will enable Lifeline to increase the number and diversity of its programs, collaborate and innovate with more social agencies and theater associations, and allow us to stage theater, music and dance productions written and performed by special needs individuals. These changes and others are behind a renewed drive we are launching to broaden our impact.

The indispensable ingredient that gives us the strength and vitality to take on large projects like the Lifeline Theater Art Center are the hundreds of special needs children and adults we reach each week. Each day we think of these individuals, just as we think of our family and friends, and we realize the enormous gift each of them give to us.

It reminds us of the classic Louis Armstrong recording, What a Wonderful World.
